The Boutik Way

A nuanced independent practice model

There are hundreds of boutique medical offices but there is only one boutik practice. Simply put, the boutik adds a modern cultural twist within the existing medical paradigm.

  • Custom, personalized care with emphasis on the physician-patient long term relationship.

  • We offer direct care to allow affordable access to dermatologic care without insurance restrictions.

  • Easy online scheduling and efficient online check in.

  • Upfront, transparent pricing on services.

Our ethos

Dr. Jasmine Onyeka Obioha has made it her priority to recolor the landscape of dermatology, offering a sanctuary for all cultures and genders.

Of Nigerian and African-American descent, married into a Haitian Creole culture, Dr. Obioha truly loves and appreciates how culture influences language, behavior and beauty ideals- hence why she adopted boutik instead of boutique.

At the boutik, a universal beauty standard does not exist. Dr. Jasmine Onyeka Obioha understands that the concept of beauty is unique to each patient because the definition of beauty varies from individual to individual. With that understanding, she is here to support and help.

I don’t think there is anything that could’ve been improved. The entire staff was kind, professional and pleasant. Dr. Obioha is professional, thoughtful and really listens. I’m pleased to have her as my dermatologist!

Dr. O is just the doctor I was looking for and I’m so grateful I finally found someone who listens and shows a genuine interest in my concerns.

TERRIFIC. I can not think of a better experience. FINALLY a dermatologist who didn’t ask me to use s shampoo 3 times per week as she knows black women don’t wash their hair 3 times per week.

I’ve gone for annual skin checks every year for the past 20-25 years and she is the first dermatologist who has been thorough enough to look between my toes. Wow! So thorough.
